FORMING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE IN KINDERGARTEN

The statistics of various studies suggest that in recent years the number of completely healthy preschoolers has decreased by almost 5 times and makes up about 15% of the total number of children entering secondary school. From this we can make an unambiguous conclusion – the formation of the skills of a healthy lifestyle for preschoolers should be given special attention, introducing into this process all forms of work to improve the health of children both in preschool and at home.

Creating a healthy lifestyle in kindergarten

Preserving the health of children is one of the most important and significant strategic tasks for the development of the state as a whole. Statesmen perfectly understand that the longevity of a nation directly depends on how correctly and responsibly a person will relate to the health of his own body, starting from an early age. At the same time, what was lost in childhood is rather difficult to restore in the future, as a result of which the primary direction of programs aimed at raising young children is precisely raising the level of health of preschool children, as well as developing their desire to lead a healthy lifestyle (HLS).

WHAT FACTORS AFFECT THE HEALTH OF CHILDREN?
A healthy lifestyle is determined by several factors at once, on each of which I would like to draw your close attention.

1. Rational Nutrition
It is customary to highlight several points that should be taken into account by both parents and employees of preschool institutions in the formation of a healthy lifestyle for a child. And, first of all, this is the daily diet of the child, which should be complete and varied, namely, include the necessary amounts of essential trace elements and nutrients, as experts say that a uniform diet is harmful to human health.

This is due to the fact that with a uniform diet, the child does not receive a huge amount of vital ingredients that ensure its full development. As a result, a preschooler may have various disorders of varying severity. Proper nutrition is of great importance precisely in childhood and adolescence, when the body grows and develops, and a lack of important substances can lead to imbalances in its development.

In addition, you should pay attention to the amount of food consumed. Regular malnutrition and overeating during the development of a child will inevitably lead to a deterioration in his well-being, as well as to a decrease in his life expectancy. In particular, malnutrition leads to a lack of nutrients, and overeating is a direct way to obesity. This disease, first of all, disrupts the cardiovascular system, respiratory functions. In addition, quite often with obesity there are liver damage and metabolic disorders, which, subsequently, can negatively affect the musculoskeletal system.

The menu of the kindergarten takes into account all these features of children’s nutrition, since the specialists of the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences worked with its leading nutritionists in the country, and the consistency of nutrition and the quality of products are monitored by employees of the SES and a special commission that occasionally checks the dishes served to children. At home, parents should also adhere to the rules of a healthy diet and never forget that watching TV shows, working at a computer, reading and other activities that may distract a child from eating are contraindicated during meals.

2. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Surely, everyone knows that even an absolutely healthy person in the prime of life, in whose life there is no physical activity (that is, if he does not play sports or does not exercise), with the most insignificant physical work, his heartbeat and breathing will significantly increase. In addition, doctors claim that such people are more likely to encounter all kinds of diseases and their well-being, in general, is unsatisfactory. And all because the performance of the heart directly depends on the development of all the muscles of a person. That is why systematic physical activity in kindergarten can strengthen the musculoskeletal, respiratory and cardiovascular system of a child from an early age. Also, physical activity has a beneficial effect on the nervous system of a preschooler.
