COMPENSATING KIND KINDERGARTEN
A compensating type kindergarten, just like an ordinary kindergarten, tries to prepare the baby for school and create the original ground for the child’s adaptation in society. Nevertheless, there is still a difference between the average kindergarten and the institution of the compensating type, and it appears in some moments, which we will talk about today.
It is obvious that every child needs an individual approach, which should concern not only personal relationships, but also upbringing / education. Since there is no single method of upbringing suitable for absolutely all children, the modern education system is trying to quickly respond to the needs of the younger generation, and to create more and more new forms of upbringing / training, as well as types of educational organizations. In particular, in order to create comfortable conditions for children with certain health problems, special compensating kindergartens were created.
Quite often, parents whose children were sent (according to the results of a medical examination) to institutions with a corrective approach are confused and believe that their blood was sent to a specialized kindergarten because of any deviation that does not meet generally accepted standards.
In fact, such a judgment is completely erroneous and the kindergarten of a compensating kind is primarily aimed at preparing the kid for school in the same way as a regular kindergarten and creating the initial ground for the child’s adaptation in society. But at the same time, provide them with special care and additional classes.
Nevertheless, there is still a difference between the average kindergarten and it manifests itself in some moments, which we will talk about today.
FEATURES OF KINDERGARTEN COMPENSATING VIEWS
Pupils of a kindergarten of a compensating type do not have any intellectual disabilities, but because of poor health, lack of attention or poor memory, they are sent to this institution just to improve their health, which in the future will allow them to study more successfully under the school curriculum.
Corrective kindergarten has as its priority the task of improving the health of children, but without forgetting to teach them the knowledge and skills that any preschool educational institution is required to do. In parallel with the classes, which do not differ much from those practiced in ordinary kindergartens, activities aimed at:
adjusting children’s health;
hardening of their body;
organization of enhanced nutrition;
As a rule, it is the designation “health adjustment” that scares parents most often. It is important to understand that children have health problems that do not threaten their lives, but require special attention from both parents and preschool staff: hearing, vision, speech retardation, hyperactivity, etc. Referral to such a special kindergarten can be received even by those kids who simply often get sick. Therefore, if doctors recommend parents to identify the child in such a kindergarten, this does not mean that the baby is considered to be disabled.
A compensatory-looking kindergarten forms separate groups of children, with a population of 12-15 people. In one group there are children with vision problems, respectively, in another group there are children with hearing problems and so on. That is, in each group for children the most comfortable conditions are created, based on their individual characteristics and capabilities.
Along with improving the health of the baby and strengthening his neuropsychic state, compensatory-looking kindergartens provide for activities aimed at organizing full-fledged education for children, but taking into account the abilities of each child. Specialists of such a kindergarten organize the mode and methods of teaching children in such a way that they are necessarily combined with the adjustment of the health of all the kids.
From all of the above, we can conclude that the compensatory-type kindergarten in fact is a vivid illustration of how the notorious individual approach to each kid in a preschool institution should look like.
ORDINARY KINDERGARTEN OR DOW OF COMPENSATING VIEW?
Parents whose children are already attending a kindergarten of a compensating type, mostly respond positively to the methods and approaches practiced in the institution. As a result, other parents are already thinking about giving their child to a corrective kindergarten, because there is organization, focus on results and the keen attention of educators to all children, without exception.
Often such parents are stopped only by the fact that the education of children entering such kindergartens not for medical reasons (that is, without a medical certificate) is paid.
