DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS IN PRESCHOOL INSTITUTIONS

We still think that all kindergartens work on the same educational program. In fact, in Russia today there are a huge number of different development programs that allow parents to adjust the physical, psychological, emotional and mental state of their child from early childhood. Today we will try to briefly talk about the most popular development programs that are practiced in modern Russian preschool institutions.

Preschool Development Programs

When choosing a kindergarten, many parents pay great attention to the material and technical base of the preschool institution, the professionalism of the teachers and the convenience of the educational institution. But few of them guess to ask about the development program, on the basis of which the kindergarten operates.

This is largely due to our ignorance, since we still think that all kindergartens work on the same educational program. In fact, in Russia today there are a huge number of different development programs that allow parents to adjust the physical, psychological, emotional and mental state of their child from early childhood.

Today we will try to briefly talk about the most popular development programs that are practiced in modern Russian preschool institutions.

CHOICE OF A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – A PROGRESS OF PRESCHOOL INSTITUTION

In accordance with the Law “On Education” (Article 14, Clause 5), each preschool educational organization in Russia has the right not only to choose the most appropriate educational program for the institution from the list of recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science, but also independently develop development programs that meet the direction and form of activity DOE.

The existing training programs and pedagogical technologies provide for various approaches to the organization of the educational process and are divided into two types:

Partial (local, specialized) – are programs aimed at developing a specific area of ​​the child’s life;
Integrated (general developmental) – include methods and pedagogical technologies aimed at the development of the main areas of the child’s life in the complex (including mental, artistic, aesthetic, social and personal, cognitive and speech, physical, etc.).
It should be noted that the educational process in a preschool educational institution may include either a single comprehensive development program or several carefully selected partial programs.

MOST POPULAR PARTIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Partial development programs are very rarely used as an independent unit of the pedagogical process. Most often they are used either in combination (several partial programs at once), or as an additional element that enhances the educational effect of general education programs. The most popular in modern kindergartens are such partial programs as:
Development of speech in kindergarten – the program is aimed at the development of speech skills in preschool children, as well as at the formation in children of ideas about the form and structure of a coherent statement.
Artistic work and construction – the program is aimed at the development of artistic and creative abilities and constructive skills, as well as imagination, associative thinking, perseverance, patience and hard work.
The development of ideas about history and culture – the program is aimed at developing the social and legal consciousness of the child, as well as the moral, mental and patriotic education of preschool children.
Harmony – the program is aimed at developing the creative, intellectual and artistic potential of the child, as well as at accumulating the social experience of knowing the world around him and its implementation in the conditions of his independent activity.
Life around us – the program is aimed at the development of the ecological culture of preschool children and the study of the relationship between nature and social phenomena.
Spider web – the program is aimed at the formation of planetary thinking in children, as well as at the education of a rational attitude in them towards nature and to themselves, as to a resident of our planet.
Green light of health – the program is aimed at creating sustainable motivation for a healthy lifestyle and preserving the health of people around.
MOST POPULAR INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
The integrated development programs that underlie the activities of almost any kindergarten in Russia are much smaller than the partial ones. Nevertheless, there is plenty to choose from. In particular, today in pre-school institutions quite often use such development programs as:
